John Piper’s view on media in church setting

This video really made me think about how we use video clips and media in our churches today. I am all for using media during a service, but I do believe that the Word of God and the preaching of it should be the majority. Too many churches rely on video clips and media to get their points across, but they spend little time actually preaching the Scriptures! Video clips and media should only be a tool to help, not a means by getting our message across. The preaching of Scripture should always be what matters most and I believe the power of God to change life’s is through His Word! I agree and disagree with Piper, but he makes some great points in this video.
